How do I use Corel update to its fullest?

Ok, first thing is go to options, set source. click on custom sorce and make sure the two debian addresses are selected. Then click the update button(the one with all the arrows) then hit the available software tab and, enjoy.

But how do I install or un-install packages?

Ok, when you want to install, go to the available tab, find the package you want, and click the x next to the name so that you see the two red arrows. Then click the install button(the one with the arrow pointing at the monitor). Then enjoy your package :) To un-install, click the installed packages tab and find the package and click on the lock until you see a trash can. Then hit the install button, and the pesky package will be nothing more than a memory

I sorta like KDE, but I want to be able to run gnome. How do I get it and install it?

First perform the libc update as described in misc. Then add the potato to your sources in corel update, update, and install.

Ok, I like Corel's enhancements to KDE, but how can I compile and install regular kde programs? Where is the qt-corel-dev?

There are instructions here, and the file is here.
